Championship Silver for U-10 Sault Ice Hawks

What an exciting and action filled season for the Cambrian Nissan Sault Ice Hawks Under 10 Ringette Travelling Team as they finished the year at the Northeast Regional Ringette Championships in Timmins in March 2010.

The U-10 team came home with Silver in the Under 10 Novice “B” division after defeating Valley East 9-2 in the semi-finals, and moving on to the finals against West Ferris. This was the third consecutive silver medal this season as they previously finished runner up in both the Sudbury and Paris Ontario Ringette Tournaments.

Team members included: Alyssa Desgagne, Alanna Hunnie, Victoria Young, Jordan Lee Matte, Maya Lortie, Kayla Simms, MacKenzie Wood-Solomon, Monik Pigeau, Taylor Elliot, Zoey Campbell, Isabelle Baril, Avy Bowman, and Hayley Rouillard

Coaching staff included Cindy Hunnie, Kerry Young and Jody Simms
