Spring Tryout and Interest Ice Dates Announced

Sault Ringette Club Announces 2026-2027 Ice Hawks 'A' Team Tryouts and U10/U12 Interest Ice/Shooting Clinic

The Sault Ringette Club is excited to announce details for the upcoming 2026-2027 Ice Hawks season tryouts. As we prepare for another competitive year, we are proud to share that the club has been approved by Ringette Ontario to host both U14A and U16A teams.

All tryouts will be conducted in accordance with Ringette Ontario team formation policies, ensuring a fair, transparent, and athlete-centered evaluation process.

• U10 and U12 Interest Ice and Shooting Clinic confirmed (see below)
• U14B-U19B Interest Ice dates will be announced following 'A" tryouts (June 2026)
• U10- U19B team formations will take place in September 2026 as per Ringette Ontario Team Formation Guidelines.

U14A TRYOUT SCHEDULE

• May 22: 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.
• May 23: 12:30 - 2:00 p.m.
• May 24: 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.

U16A TRYOUT SCHEDULE

• May 22: 8:30 - 9:30 p.m.
• May 23: 2:00 - 3:30 p.m.
• May 24: 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Players are required to attend all scheduled sessions to allow evaluators ample opportunity to assess skills, teamwork, and game play.   If a player cannot attend tryouts (injury/out of town etc.), a written request must be submitted to the SRC Board of Directors.  Please email vicepres@saultringette.com Players unable to attend tryouts are required to register, pay the tryout fee in full.

Deadline to register for U14A and U16A Tryouts is Tuesday, May 19 2026

Only those players who have completed Ringette Ontario’s Player Intent to Tryout Form are eligible to register for A tryouts.

Attendance is not mandatory.  All players who are interested in fall sort-outs are encouraged to attend.

Fee includes a 1-hr interest ice session on April 28 and a combined shooting clinic on April 29

U10 (8-9 years old by December 31)

U12 (10-11 years old by December 31)
